Our Post 294 is hosting the American Legion 9th District Spring Convention on April 2 and 3, 2022. The location will be at the Missouri City Community Center at 1522 Texas Parkway in Missouri City, 77489.

On Saturday the convention will start at 1:00 pm for training purposes and on Sunday at 9:00 am. Advanced entry fee $16.00. Entry fee at the door is $19.00. Contact Robert Maiellaro ( 713 ) 376-7295 for advanced fees.

There will be a chance for buying tickets for a gun raffle, a silent auction and door prizes. We will have a BBQ lunch on Sunday and we will have a guest keynote speaker on Sunday morning.

​The speaker is Daniel Flores. He is a retired Federal Agent from the US Customs and Border Protection Agency. Daniel spent a year in Afghanistan as a helicopter pilot. He has written two books that will be on sale at the convention.

First draw was Jeron Houston and has a choice of one of the three guns.

Second draw was Alan Brevurd and has a choice of one of the two left guns.

Third draw was Cory Stary and gets the last gun left.
